Mother Wilds is a Webcomic and Worldbuilding Project written and illustrated by Cyrus Martinez-Weaver.
Mera Hernandez finds herself stranded in a deep wilderness far from her home, in a place known to its imprisoned populace as The Mother Wilds. This world appears to be a vastly different, yet mirrored, version of our own, brimming with beasts, tribes, and gods. To adjust to her new surroundings, Mera must pick a spirit, an animal to act as her familiar. However, she chooses the most taboo of all the wild creatures.
